Why I'm running for Sanford City Commission

As a Seminole County resident since 1987 and resident of Sanford since 2003, I have experienced firsthand what a great community we are a part of. This is why I chose Sanford to raise my family.

The last two decades have seen rampant growth, a strain on our infrastructure, the pollution of our drinking water, the virtual abandoning of a once thriving mall, and the increase in crime that comes with a large increase in population.

Since I was 19 I have been serving our country and community. I have served in combat abroad and I have patrolled our streets at night. When our nation called, I responded, rifle in hand, boots on ground. When our community called 911 in the middle of the night, I responded, ready to step in and face whatever evil was lurking around the corner. I dedicated my life to standing in the face of danger so you didn't have to. It was my honor, and I would do it all over again.

I started volunteering as a coach in Sanford 20 years ago, and I have won 4 State Championships as a high school football coach. Service to our community is a part of me, and I am confident that I am the leader to move our city forward and ensure that Sanford remains a great place to live.

My formal education includes degrees in Law Enforcement, an Economics degree and an MBA, and I run a successful business. I understand the economic issues we’re facing and I am prepared to tackle them on day one.

I am the candidate who has the experience to tackle the issues we are facing:

1. Public Safety
2. Responsible growth
3. Infrastructure revitalization and safe drinking water
4. Ensuring economic prosperity and attracting quality businesses to our City

I have Experience That Matters. To you. To your family, to your business. To your neighborhood. Put my experience to work for you.
